(from Wikipedia)The 'X Games' is an annual sports event, controlled and arranged by the U.S.
sports broadcaster ESPN (with coverage also shown on its sister network ABC),
which focuses on action sports. The inaugural X Games were held in summer 1995
in Rhode Island.
Participants compete to win bronze, silver and gold medals, and prize money. The
competition often features new tricks such as Tony Hawk's 900 in skateboarding,
Anthony Napolitan with the first double front flip on a bicycle, Travis
Pastrana's double backflip in freestyle motocross, Heath Frisby's first ever
snowmobile front flip in Snowmobile Best Trick, and Torstein Horgmo's first
landed triple flip in a snowboard competition. Concurrent with competition is
the "X Fest" sports and music festival, which offers live music, athlete
autograph sessions and interactive elements.
The Winter X Games are held in January or February (usually in January) and the
Summer X Games are usually held in August, both in the United States. The
location of the Winter X Games is in Aspen, Colorado through 2012, while the
location for the Summer X Games is in Los Angeles. The X Games also has
international competitions and demos around the world that are held at varying
times throughout the year. The games are shown live on television.
The Winter X Games are, as described by ESPN (2008), a competition compiled of
the greatest winter action sport athletes from around the world competing on an
annual basis. The competition has day and evening events including skiing,
snowboarding and snowmobiling. The first Winter X Games took place at Mountain
Resort in Big Bear Lake, California, in 1997. The following two years, the Games
were held at Crested Butte Mountain Resort in Colorado. The two years following
that, the Games were held in Mount Snow, Vermont. Since 2002, the Winter X Games
have been held at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado, and according to ESPN
they will continue to be held there in 2012.

Open Question: why am I never hungry?
I started not eating lunch, because I didn't have $ for hot lunch in my account, and never had time to pack it. & then we never really had dinner so I stopped having that too. So all I was eating was a granola bar & cereal & sometimes grapes or a banana. (This was only for schooldays not weekends.) I also play soccer & have soccer practice 2 times a week plus games. Then I got really tired & felt sick before soccer one day & I told my mom about it, & she quickly took me too Subway where I ate a whole footlong & two cookies w/ sprite. I felt way better. That was a few days ago, but now whenever I know I need to eat the thought of it makes me have a feeling of nausea. & I used to love food(x I'm not fat & I'm not extreme skinny, but now I just don't have an appetite. It's really weird. I used to be able to eat like ANYTHING. Also I feel sick sometimes. & I'm losing some weight. (Not a lot though because most of my weight was muscle from soccer in the first place.) I played soccer today and all I've eaten was a small piece of bacon 2 donuts before and then after a bite of a burger one french fry and a slushie & I'm not hunrgy?

Open Question: Help with Teasing and getting made fun of and picked on... border line abused!?
News spreads on to people and people who I wither know or kinda know or don't know at all bust my chops often when I'm seen. And I'm getting tired of it and just want to be left alone. It happens everywhere and it's at the point where I fear leaving the house because I don't want to put up with the cruelty. One day I was bored so me and my sis decided to make a bet on a football game. First we just wagered a dollar. Eventually it went up to two bucks. She won. Instead of just paying her I decided to try to even things out and challenged her to an X-Box game. And now I owed her $8 so I challenged her again. $16. We popped a new game and she beat me again. $32 now! Eh one more game I thought. Now I owed her $64. Checkers I thought would be the answer. $128. My sister tried to talk me out of this. But I insisted to get even. So we played again. $156!! Another checkers game took place. $312!!! She was laughing at this. Next up was chess. $624!!!! I was desperate. So I said one more chess game. She told me to think it over. I said I was sure. She said she didn't want me to be mad at her. I said I wasn't. So the game took place... $1,248!!!!! She asked me if I had enough. I said yes. I had just cashed my pay-check and I get payed every two weeks. I went to my room. I had $919 in cash over there. My whole check! I had an extra $23. So then I went to the ATM machine and took out the remaining $306. I gave her all of it. She said she didn't think I would. We shook hands and agreed to put this behind us. The problem is my account is pretty much empty. It's been hard have literally $0.00 on me. I have bills to play and was supposed to buy tickets to events and I need to buy things for school and stuff. What should I do? How do I explain to people that I'm suddenly broke? Along with the Blu-Ray movies Sucker Punch the special edition and Let Me In also Kick-*** and 27 Dresses and Knocked Up. She certainly has wanted this for a long time now. (I had this posted earlier and didn't realize it was cut off.) New Info! OK speaking of dresses me and my sister have a wedding to go to eventually and there was this dress she had her eyes on. I learned she went out and bought it. I did call my friends and yes they did laugh. A lot. Hey even I laughed. They reminded me that I had slacked off getting my suit. But they understand. She bought shoes with the dress. And her being a woman and a young lady at that bought a new hand-bag as well. So if we do the math... It's gone. The $1,248 is gone. I know it's not her fault. She looks beautiful in her dress. OK, sorry this is SO LONG! But this was the backlash to this unfortunate incident. What would you do if you were constantly being made fun of?
