(from Wikipedia), Hainan Province, China]] 'Wholesaling', 'jobbing', or 'distributing' is

WTO - World Trade Organization] In general, it is the sale of goods to
anyone other than a standard consumer.
According to the United Nations Statistics Division, "wholesale" is the resale
(sale without ) of new and used goods to retailers, to industrial, commercial,
institutional or professional users, or to other wholesalers, or involves acting
as an agent or broker in buying merchandise for, or selling merchandise to, such
persons or companies. Wholesalers frequently physically assemble, sort and grade
goods in large lots, break bulk, repack and redistribute in smaller
lots.[http://unstats.un.org/unsd/cr/registry/regcs.asp?Cl=9&Lg=1&Co=6
UNSTATS - United Nations Statistics Division] While wholesalers of most
products usually operate from independent premises, wholesale marketing for
foodstuffs can take place at specific wholesale markets where all traders are
congregated.
Traditionally, wholesalers were closer to the markets they supplied than the
source from which they got the products.
However, with the advent of the internet and E-procurement there are an
increasing number of wholesalers located nearer manufacturing bases in China,
Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. For example, Chinavasion, Ownta, Salehoo, and
Modbom. These companies offer drop shipping services to companies and
individuals.
In the banking industry "wholesale" usually refers to wholesale banking,
providing tailored services to large customers, in contrast with retail banking,
providing standardized services to large numbers of smaller customers.

Open Question: What are some very fashionable but decently priced ebay shops?
What are some very fashionable but decently priced ebay shops that ship to the u.s. (specifically Florida)??? Please don’t list some Chinese wholesaler. I want things that are in trend and very fashionable like pleated skirts, vests, cut out shorts, bleached jeans, funky leggings, etc etc. Kind of like forever 21, but a little grungy-er. Thanks. :)
Open Question: Is there a term for this when buying from a wholesaler?
I wasn't quite sure how to phrase the question, but i was hoping someone with more experience can help me. I have a small online business selling hand made synthetic dreads. I have been wanting to expand my business and customer basis to bring in more money (going through a hard time right now) and i want to start selling retail lolita clothing. I obviously need to find a wholesaler to buy from and have been looking at a few options (most are in Japan, since that is where the fashion was created). I don't have much money so i don't think i would be able to buy a bunch of bulk stock and try to sell that off, so i was wondering if it is common for some businesses to take orders from multiple people for items and then buy them from the whole sale company once i have all the orders taken. That way im not stuck with left overs. On the down side, yes i wouldn't have the items in stock and they would take a little longer to ship to my customers. But with the limited money i have, i doubt i can buy a bunch of products and try to sell them off. This way its less of a risk and i get to see how well things are selling. I know a fellow small online business that does not keep her products in stock and will take about a month to take orders then send off for those orders. Is there a specific term for this and do other small online business work like this? I'm not sure if this is different from "drop ship"? Does anyone else have some advice or experience? I would like to get the ball rolling and at least start out small and see how it goes.

Open Question: Does this dress pass off as a wedding dress?
I am having a court wedding so the idea was to get a short cocktail dress, there will be a reception afterwards so I do want to stand out in the crowd. I recently went in to a bridal store and looked at their catalogs and my friends along with my mom all agreed a this dress. I have been looking everywhere online for the dress and this one is as similar as it gets, the one we say didn't have the sparkle in the tulle and was not that short. The catalog says it comes in white too. I want to stand out but not look tacky, I also don't want to dress to formal since it wont be a church wedding. Does this look acceptable to any of you? your opinions are well appreciated, thanks in advance. :) http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/505923996-Beautiful-A-Line-Sweetheart-Neckline-Flowers-Taffeta-Mini-Wear-Cocktail-Party-Dress-TLF530-wholesalers.html LOL it does come in white if I order it through the catalog, so its definitely going to be white lol and thanks :)
