Resolved Question: Exams? Not enough time should I cram or not ?
Hi I just did an R.E. gcse (or R.S.) and I studied really hard for it and I completed it and i think I did good :) BUT now I have the internal school exams they just go on my summer report but I revised soo much for R.E. that I didn't get ANY time at all for these school exams. I have my biology tomorrow I have to learn 8 booklets I have learned 2 In the space of like 3- 4 hours what should I do the exam tomorrow at 9:30 it lasts an hour and a half should I be worrying so much seeing as these aren't official exams also i have my real geography gcse coming up in about two weeks and I'd rather be revising that what do you think? I think the main thing that's freaking me out is my target grade in biology is an A* and If I get like a C (which I might seeing as I have to revise really hard to get that kind of grade) my teacher would make me feel dumb -_- or you know say oh I'm disappointed blah blah What the heck should I do thanks! :) x

Open Question: What is the best way to cram Math lessons from high school if I've forgotten all of it?
I didn't get any Math subject in school for a year (I'm taking up Fine Arts anyway, and Math isn't that relevant to it). So now the thing is, I want to apply for a scholarship to Japan. I just found out about the scholarship thing last week & that the test for the scholarship is next month. I was never really good at Math, & when I looked at the sample questions, I can not answer anything. I forgot everything I learned before. What's the best way to cram all the Math stuff I learned in high school (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, etc etc.) in just one month? Should I get a Math tutor or should I just review all my old high school books, or should I do a different approach? Help please. I'm terribly scared I might fail because of the Math part & I want the scholarship so bad. :(

Resolved Question: Who do I contact if I want to start a career in Touring Car Racing?
I am in college right now, but I am having a very difficult time in it. I am a mechanical engineering major. There are courses that I keep struggling in and failing in and that I just can't seem to pass. My dream someday is to be a race car driver. I've joined clubs at my school that involves cars, notably SAE and am involved in Formula SAE . I just love the mechanics of automobiles. I know that education comes first, and getting through college, especially as an ME major because it will provide be with a solid background and understanding of how things work. I know that many race car drivers out there graduate with an ME degree. But it seems like everyone is going through all of this schooling just for a piece of paper. A piece of paper saying that you made it through college. School doesn't prepare you for work. They just cram a bunch of things inside your brain that you won't use most of anyway after you graduate. And most of the time when you get a job, people have to train you in what you're doing anyways. School doesn't seem to be working for me right now. All I want to do is race. I've come across this quote "If what you're doing is not your passion, you have nothing to lose." Racing is my passion. I come from a family who struggles financially so I've never had the chance to hone my racing skills much where it be kart racing or autocross or anything like that. I do however drive a manual transmission car that I take very good care of. A lot of my friends say that I'm the smoothest driver and I know what I'm doing and I have a good feel for my car. I do a lot of research on my own about cars and watch many videos, and I know a few basics about racing and driving lines. So I want to know who I should contact to get my career started. I love all racing, but the one that appeals to me most is touring car racing and the super V8's. I would do anything, travel places, I don't care how I'm going to do it, if I have to go by foot I will, to get my foot in the door to become a racecar driver. If you train me, I will do it. I hope this message finds its way to someone that's looking for someone that has a passion in racing. I just want to share my thoughts because I'm just killing myself everyday going through college and not really getting much out of it. Please email me at gcon_22@hotmail.com if you have any leads. Thank you!

Open Question: help about resume for salon assistant job.?
okay so i'm in beauty school. i'm doing Cosmetology. i've been there since september and will have jut about 500hrs completed out of 1,000. so far i've had 2 jobs at hair salons but the problem is... i need to find another one and don't know what to put on my resume. the reason for this is because, at my first job at the salon, i was there for a month untill i quit....i was working 8-9 hours a day and then go start to school for 4&1/2hrs cause i took night classes...monday-thursday 5:30pm - 10pm... and i worked early in the mornings for 3days a week sometimes 4days a week and she paid me NO MORE than $80....no matter how many extra days i worked. it was BULLSH*T. and she was too passive aggressive with me and just rude. i was not happy there so i QUIT. i was getting paid so shitty and it was 40min away, i didn't make good enough tips to pay for my gas so there was no point. i didnt quit professionally though...i just woke up early the morning i had work and i didnt wanna do it anymore i was miserable there..i did everything for her, i was her personal assistant and receptionist and cleaned everything meanwhile she sat down at her station watching t.v eating food making a mess, telling me to clean something i already cleaned cause she wanted to see my worked every second... i even had to clean HER own station when she would sit there and eat and make a mess. so i texted her and said "i'm sorry but i'm going to have to withdraw from my position at the salon." and she said "youre not very mature and responsible. goodluck." ........ i didn't quit professionally i will admit but she didnt pay me good and treated me like **** so what did she expect? and the place was really slow.. i worked hard though even thought i was never busy i was always on my feet doing something... so i didnt put her down on my resume that i worked there because she would've sabataged me and bashed me for quitting....but i got another job recently at this really popular salon thats ALWASY busy and they needed help so i worked for a week and the owner barely got a chance to train me at all. shes so busy and crams everyone in so she felt really bad about not giving me any time at all... i was supposed to fill out paperwork for the bank account and everything but she never got a chance to give me the papers cause theres so many clients and she has no time. it was good experience and i was only there for 1week and she called me and she said she's going to need to find another person to work there with a lot more experience and she was really nice to me and felt really bad and told me she wanted to train me herself but she has no time. she's booked for weeks.. she things its unfair to me and things i'm overwhelmed, which sometimes i am cause i've never worked in a busy salon like that and i do things right when she tells me what to do, but she needs someone who has worked in a salon before for a long time and knows what to do... when i met her in the interview she new i never worked before(i told her i didnt cause my old job would've sabataged me) and she was totally fine with me not having experience because she wanted to "mold" me and teach me and train me herself. but she never got the time to. i'm the 1st person they've hired to help cause they just opened up 6months ago so she probably didnt think it would be this hard...... so now i'm on the hunt for a new job. and job's like people who have had previous experience. the problem is, i don't know what to put. my 1st old job will bash me most definitly, and my 2nd old job wont bash me but i only worked there for a week...and i can't put on a resume that i worked someone for a week...it'll look bad and they'll ask me what happened and it wont look good. AFKLSDJF;ALSDJF sorry. i wrote so much, who ever is reading this, i'm sorry if your brain hurts. i wouldn't blame you. i need HELP. what should i do? btw i'm a very fast learner if someone gives me instructions and proper training... i catch on very quick and give great shampoos and keep the place real tidy. hair styling is my passion so i love the salon atmosphere...i just don't know what to do! i've worked a 2 previous salons and now i feel like i can't put that on my resume. and it sucks. UGHHHHHHHH :(
